Máire an Moilleadóir|An Tánaiste procrastinates again
D’fhreagar an Tanaiste litreacha an bhoird faoi cheist an fhoirgnimh bhuain an tseachtain seo caite. Dar léi tá sé róluath don chruinniú a bhí á lorg again mar gheall ar an moill ar an dul chun chinn maidir lenár dtionscnamh tógála. Cuireann a dhánacht a lethéid a rá le scoil atá ag fanacht 25 bliain ar fhoirgneamh alltacht orainne. Tá sé beartaithe bru leanúnach a chur ar teachtaí an dáilcheantair plé lenár gcás.
Tá téacsanna na litreacha atá faighte againn le fáil ar anseo.
The Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Mary Coughlan, TD, has finally replied to our letters seeking a meeting to outline our frustrations with her department. It it she states that it would be premature to meet with the Board of Management at this stage. It beggars belief that a politician can tell a school waiting 25 years for a permanent building that it is too soon to meet them personally. The Board of Management will continue to lobby all public representatives to seek their support for a permanent building for Gaelscoil Philib Barún.
The letters can be seen here.
