Cathaoir na gCarad i gCuimhne Áine Cholbéir|Buddy Bench in memory of Áine Cholbéir

Nochtadh cathaoir na gcarad deartha ag John Hayes i gcuimhne ar Áine Cholbéir a bhíodh ag obair i Naíonra Philib Barún A Buddy Bench, created by John Hayes, Fenor, has been unveiled in memory of Áine Cholbéir who had worked for many years in Naíonra Philib Barún.

Áine’s family attended a mass in her memory and Ruairí her son spoke eloquently afterwards expressing the family’s thanks for the seat and noting the affection they all had for Gaelscoil Philib Barún. The bench will eventually be placed in a position accessible to pupils playing in the yard. It was sponsored by the Parents Association, the school Board of Management and Naíonra Philib Barún CLG.
